Week 1: Excellence In Reading Challenge

This week has been very busy but we did manage to get one book crossed off our reading challenge list.

Harry The Dirty Dog by Gene Zion - Harry is a white dog with black spots, who hates getting a bath. After burying the families scrub brush, Harry runs about the neighborhood, getting very dirty. The now black dog with white spots is unrecognizable by his family. Harry resorts to digging up the hidden scrub brush and begging for a bath, in order for his family to recognize him again. 

I also downloaded Aesop's Fables Kindle Edition at Amazon.com.  This is one we will attack gradually.
