Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! Today is the official start date for many new reading challenges this year, including my own Excellence In Reading Challenge. I'll be making a post at the end of the week with a link up for the Excellence In Reading Challenge. I hope you will link up and share with us which books you read. I can't wait to get started. As a reminder here is the link to our book list. I've also posted a link at the top of this page to make it easily accessible throughout the year.

I've also signed up for other challenges including this one: 2012 Immigrant Stories Challenge.

I have chosen the "Just Off The Boat" level. My goal is to read 1-3 books this year featuring immigrants. I chose this challenge because I love reading stories based on immigration especially stories with a late 1800's early 1900's setting.
